Frequently Asked Questions...

Where can I find more information on Amazon's price protection policy?

Amazon are very careful to keep this money saving secret quiet! They make sure that the price protection policy is hidden away deep inside the terms and conditions.

The exact wording of the price drop policy is:

Amazon.com's prices for released items will change from time to time based on a variety of factors. If Amazon.com's price for an already-released item decreases within 30 days after we ship the item to you, we'll be glad to refund the difference in price if you contact us within that 30-day period.

This can be found burried in the Amazon site here.

Are there any items Amazon does not provide refunds on?

Unfortunately yes. Amazon will only protects prices and provides refunds on items you bought directly from. Items sold by a third party, through the Amazon website are not eligible for a refund under the price drop policy.

Don’t worry if you’re not sure who you bought your item off or if its eligible, our tool won’t let you add a watch to an item that is not sold directly by Amazon, making it very difficult to go wrong.

Is shipping included in the price?

No – when telling us about how much you paid for your product from Amazon please don’t include any special taxes or shipping costs. All we need is the price that was listed on the Amazon product page when you bought it.

Can’t remember the price? Check you your Amazon purchase history or the eMail confirmation they would have sent.

How do I claim my price protected refund?

There are a few ways to go about claiming your Amazon price drop refund, you can either contact Amazon through their online contact form, or perhaps the best way is to just give them a call to explain the situation.

When claiming a refund it is important to be courteous and appreciative to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. We’ve heard tales of Amazon getting awkward with customers who present a bad attitude – better to be safe than sorry.

Don’t forget to let us know when you get your Amazon refund – we love to hear your good news stories!

Where can I find my ASIN?

This is an easy one :-)

If the item you bought is a book then the ASIN will simply be the ISBN, found on the cover. If not then the ASIN will be listed in your Amazon delivery documents.

Can’t find your delivery reciept? No worries – surf to the product page on Amazon and the ASIN will be listed, both in the URL and on the page as shown below:
